The Thule ProRide carries one bike on the car roof. It suits bikes up to 20 kg and is an alternative when there is no tow bar or the rear of the car should stay free.

One bike on the car roof
The ProRide is meant for a single bike and is fitted on a matching set of roof bars.
It is of particular interest when there is no tow bar, or when the tow bar is not to be used for a rear carrier.
The matching roof bars are not automatically included and can be added during booking.
One bike up to 20 kg
The ProRide takes one bike weighing a maximum of 20 kg.
The maximum wheelbase is 1235 mm. Wheel sizes from 16 to 29 inches are suitable.
The ProRide is not suitable for e-bikes.

Roof mounting instead of a tow bar
The ProRide is the only bike carrier in our range that carries the bike on the car roof.
That keeps the tow bar free, or means none is needed at all.
Compared with our tow-bar carriers the load is lower at a maximum of 20 kg, and one bike is carried per carrier.
