Compact, when you are just short of space
The 300-litre roof box makes sense when you need extra room but do not want more box on the roof than necessary.
It fits short holidays, weekend trips and journeys where part of the luggage still travels inside the car.
If several people travel for longer or take noticeably more luggage, 450, 500 or 600 litres is usually the better choice.
For bags and additional travel luggage
The 300-litre class is mainly meant for extra travel luggage that no longer fits in the boot.
What matters is not only the volume but also the length of the items. For particularly long pieces of luggage or long skis, the larger roof boxes are the better fit.
The smallest size in our range
At 300 litres this is the most compact of the four size classes.
It is the right choice when as little extra height on the roof as possible is wanted and the space you need stays modest.
If you need more storage without going straight to the largest box, look at the 450-litre roof box.
