Plenty of storage and extra length
The Arcos XL is the right choice when 300 or 400 litres is not enough, or when you want to carry longer items.
At 450 litres it offers the largest volume of our rear boxes. It is also longer than the Arcos L, which makes it suitable for skis and snowboards.
The box mounts on the tow bar. The roof stays free.
You need a suitable tow bar with sufficient nose weight.
Also for skis and longer items
The Arcos XL offers around 180 cm of interior length.
Alongside ordinary travel luggage, that makes it suitable for longer items.
For skis it is designed for lengths up to 180 cm.
The extra volume also helps when you want to carry several bags or larger pieces of luggage.
The longest rear box in our range
The Arcos XL is 10 cm longer than the Arcos L and offers 50 litres more storage.
The most important difference is not the extra volume on its own, but the greater interior length. It takes items that cannot sensibly be stowed in a BackSpace XT or an Arcos L.
Like the Arcos L it has a rigid hard shell with a low profile.
